
Vanilla Wreaths
Mix flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and icing sugar. Run through a sieve into a large bowl.
Add chopped almonds into the bowl.
Chop butter finely and add into the bowl.
Mix and knead until become a dough.
Rest the dough in a refrigerator for at least 30 min.
Set up a meat grinder on a stable table. Remove all meat grinder plates and knife blades from the grinder.
Use star attachment to make the shape.
Cut the dough into small chunks.
Run the dough through the meat grinder into long rod-shaped dough.
Cut the rod-shaped dough into pieces of 8-10 cm. and form into circle or wreath-shaped.
Place cookies on a baking tray covered with a baking sheet.
Bake the cookies on the second rack in the preheated oven at 185 degree Celsius for 8 min. until the cookies turn light brown.
Remove the cookies from the oven. Transfer to a wire cooking rack to finish the cooling.
Keep the cookies in a tin box and store in a dry place.
